As my granddaughter, Della, starts third grade, I am once again amazed by the pace of life. Joan and I are celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary at The Greenbrier in West Virginia. Life is a journey and mine has taken me from early troubles, disappointment and despair to salvation and the pursuit of a vision of personal success. Along the way the Lord sent me a wife and life partner, Joan Payne from whom I learned about quiet faith and loving grace. Together we have enjoyed blessings far beyond our mere imagination.
